Occasionally to get the parts needed other parts have to be purchased.
Amongst the items acquired is a 1927 CAV 12 volt 3 brush generator with a shaft that is double ended .
I am curious as to what it will fit?

I don't know what it come off, but I would presume that the double ended shaft would be to piggy-back either a distributor or a magneto, in which case it would be driven by the camshaft (ie half engine speed)
