On June 9th and 10th, Brian Moorcroft is again holding his two day show at Hundred End Lane, Hesketh Bank, Lancs. All vintage and classic car, bike and commercial owners are welcome 10 am - 5pm on both days and overnight camping is available on the field for those wishing to make a weekend of it. In previous years around 150 vehicles plus bikes have turned up, so worth a look.

Food and refreshments are also available and there will be an entertainment on the Saturday Evening (for which a small charge will be made).

Public admission is via a donation and all proceeds go to local charities. The event will be well signosted around the area and all are invited to come along and take part.

Hi
Just to add a bit of interest to these pics.
The K suffix Princess 1300 has a genuine 681 mls on the clock, the purchaser was unable to drive it from shortly after getting it and it was then subsequently laid up and only recently came to light with less than a hundred mls on it the new owner has put the rest on taking it to shows.

There is a price tag on the H prefix Merc. What do you think it is?

On the Armstrong Siddeley, what is the lower link with with the ball-end connecting to the bottom centre of the front wheel for. The steering linkage is behind the axle.

What is the "spider" on the dash of the "Teal or Bugatti" ?

So is this the sort of event that people go looking for spare parts and where it's better to stay with your car.

Hi
Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

There is actually a message written on it saying "complete car waiting for a heritage shell"
possibly belongs to the farmer.
The sceptre was also parked in what appears to be the normal workers parking area

Can it be a system to operate the front brake? Intriguing.
