I know this is an older post,but i would just like to mention that this is probably an Ackermann built vehicle.They would build it on pretty much any suitable chassis the customer required.
The ones I know about were MAN,Mercedes,Bussing,Henschel,Borgward.
I have several in my 1/87 model collection,made by Brekina in the last 20 years or so,and Wiking made one from the mid 50's till the late 60's. |

Hi poodge . I thought no one else was interested!!!
I have always had a hankering after something like this to convert into a high quality camper van. I mean really sumptuous with all mod cons. It seems to be big enough but although they are supposed to be easy to drive, this one has an enormous rear overhang - which could catch me out on smaller roads/bends etc.
I don't have a license for anything heavier than 7.5 tons so I don't know if I could legally get behind the wheel. |
