Morris Marina in Newport this morning, looked in good nick but painted in what I can only describe as vomit colour. I don't know a lot about them but it had the appearance of a base model with single headlamps in a front end that appeared to be designed for two, if that makes sense? |

Spotted a red MG A on my way home today, and a little while ago a green over black tourer that I suspect was an Austin Ten tourer (I had thought it was a Fourteen or Sixteen until I checked some images online, it looked much more like a Ten).
I did get a picture of what I believe is a Seven and this may be the one I captured on dashcam, back when I had one of those.

I spotted a red TR6 on my way to work this morning out in the sunshine. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

Hi
Saw a turquoise "yank tank" on the M60/M66 junct, Simister Island, Rbt this morning
It crossed in front of me as I was approaching down the off slip to the r/bt so I only had a side-on view
It was from the tail fin era but I can't find it in any of my books.
The fins were quite high, looked vertical not splayed outwards and had a definite convex curved leading edge starting around where the back of the rear window was.
Any suggestions? _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

Penman. From your description I would guess a '57 to '60 Plymouth. or maybe an early sixties Cadillac although the fins on those tended to be rather lower |

Sat outside the factory at lunchtime soaking up the sun and a lowloader drives past with a rough looking AEC Militant on the back, not something you see everyday. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

I'd just pulled up at traffic lights in Chesterfield this afternoon when I heard a 'snarl' behind me and saw the back end of a Lancia Stratos disappearing from view.
I looked forward again to see a green Morris Traveller approaching - polar opposites! _________________ David

A couple of interesting spots in Cwmbran this afternoon. First was a tidy red Triumph Stag queuing at one of the many roundabouts, from the sound as it pulled away I reckon it had an auto 'box, not exactly unusual on these though.
The second was more a "sign of the times" than anything classic related, but I haven't seen one before. You'll all be familiar with the coin-operated children's rides seen around shopping areas - some are based well-known characters from popular TV shows but others are more generic like buses or police cars. Well, today I saw one with the body moulding made to look like the recycling collection trucks that are always holding the traffic up, that's a new one... |

We were at a local show yesterday and we saw a really nice original Jowett Bradford pick-up, totally untouched it attracted a lot of interest. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

There was a Jowett club stand at Llangollen on Saturday, I wonder if they made a weekend of it and are heading home now?
