At Castle Combe for the Autumn Classic a couple of weeks ago I entered a competition with Atwell-Wilson to win a 1983 Mini Mayfair. Not sure if I necessarily wanted one, but it's a good museum, so I thought worth a punt. |

In Denmark, in the Silkeborg area, the Jysk Automobilmuseum. This museum was started in 1967 by mechanical engineer Aage Louring, claims to be the foremost car museum in Denmark and also contains an eclectic collection of mainly pre-war European and American cars, motor bikes and commercials. All the exhibits are spotless and there is a second building with cars awaiting restoration, and duplicates of cars on display. Worth a visit.

I can't do links, but try the Sinsheim museum, and its sister at Speyer, both in Germany. you'll need a week to see them both! |
