I like the Austin-based camper in particular.

We took the Hillman into Wells on the Sunday, parked on the Cathedral Green. There were about half a dozen cars invited and there were lots of stalls and food vendors.

There were an awful lot of people there, loads of interest in the cars.

Interesting turnout of cars from several eras, but what on earth is the vehicle with the number plate EXE 413??

It could be a hot rod, but I doubt if any 'rodder' would build a pseudo Ford T with such small tyres. Perhaps it is a kit car, or perhaps something that a person has built themselves?

The lack of projecting chassis legs suggest transverse leaf spring and the spoked wheels suggest pre-war. Perhaps a Ford Y type??

According to the DVLA it is a March 1938 Ford with an 1143cc engine.

Thanks Peter and Penman. I had a feeling it was a Y or based on a Y or similar U.K. Ford. I don't understand the T radiator shell, but each to their own!
