The car shown is a demonstrator.
Perhaps for the Bentley enthusiast who wants a bespoke sports car in the 'Saville Row' tradition this is the answer.
Personally, I would be inclined to concentrate on the question will it make me happy.?.
The Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius famously said "Very little is needed to make a happy life; it is all within yourself... in your way of thinking".
What do we think? |

Cockpit too small for me, too much plush and padding.
Wheelbase could do with being a bit longer, IMHO.
Everything looks rather squat and cramped.
With the hood up, still very little weather protection. [My head would create a bulge in the hood anyway]
If exposed to the weather, then the interior needs to be a lot more robust & simple.
Definitely a gucci toy....especially at that price. _________________ Dellow Mk2, 1951 built, reg 1952.

Richard Biddulph is a dealer who knows his onions. I would sooner go to someone like him with a good reputation if I was in that market.
As you say, Mike, you could have the real thing for that money... (rather than something phoney.)
The '26 Bentley would make me happy but poor.
The so called 'special' would just make me poor.

I suppose to be fair, the car shown is just an example of their work. They make it clear that if you were to order a Mark 6 Bentley 'special' you could specify a bespoke car built to your specific requirements; hence the 'Saville Row' suit analogy. |
