Lots of really challenging restorations there.
Thanks for posting.

I agree that most would be a challenge to restore, but what a huge resource of parts, especially body panels. _________________ in the garage: 1938 Talbot Ten Airline

They certainly liked British vehicles!

Its weird being the same age as old people.
You are either part of the problem or part of the solution |

Unfortunately this is what happens when people hang on to cars etc too long
The goods becomes mostly useless rusty scrap of very little use to anybody. _________________ 1938 Morris 8 Ser II Coupe Utility (Pickup)

Well it's preferable to them weighing everything in during one of the scrap metal drives that saw so many viable projects put into the crusher. In fact pretty much any car that is now over, say, 30 years of age, has been in the hands of someone who couldn't bear to part with it for whatever reason.

Quite literally that place would be a major source of spares for so many vehicle owners.
Some would be restorable too.
Imagine that lot being left out in the elements in the UK? There'd be nothing left... _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

I have been to a number of these sales and the biggest problem is the underneath where grass has grown up and caused severe rust. I have seen cars that were in good shape and general condition until looking underneath. _________________ 1938 Morris 8 Ser II Coupe Utility (Pickup)
