I have an admiration for all things 'Standard' it's true, they, with Austins are my vehicles of choice, and the twin carb set up on that one is certainly interesting.

Pity he didn't break it actually as I would have bought the inlet and carbs! As it is, unfortunately there seems to be quite a lot of water between me and the land of cheap Standards. Crying or Very sad

On a more positive note I have just re-sold the 2cv that I recently purchased and hope to be able to turn the profit into a Standard 8 I have spied. Wink

interesting find, fortunately I'm not really a fan of the Pennant front end (I suppose it could be unbolted and replaced with the older 10 front wings etc!) Smile
