I'll be passing through France next year actually but it would be quite a detour to the Limousin.
We'll be in the (hopefully) freshly restored 2cv and we're heading down to Lake Garda to be married! Razz

I'll speak to Mrs. Nail (to be) and see if we can spare an additional couple of days. Without the detour the trip is approx 2800 miles over two weeks. I've reckoned on a leisurely three days drive down to Lago de Garda, a week spent in and around touring the lakeside towns, with three days left to get back to Calais.
We have also chosen early September as the 'season' is quietening a little.
