What a sad story indeed. When you read things like this it makes you wonder why the social services don't get more involved. Surely neighbours should be on the lookout for such things happening in their vicinity Crying or Very sad

Very sad story, SS probably just paid "lip service" at some point but there is nothing in it for them apart from spending money so just turn a blind eye.
This poor man was probably an obsessive compulsive and the sad thing he could have been saved with a bit of help

I have worked with people like this and the car in the garage is likely to be just the tip of the iceberg for "saved treasures"

Same family, those are the rear lights of a Mark VII Minx.

The early Hawks have little horizontal lights



and the later ones include reversing lamps


I think the car in the garage has the same lights as this Minx.


The overriders in the Hawk are more substantial looking things too.

Does in deed looks like a mid 50's Mark Hawk or Super Snipe
