Been on the cumbria old skool ford tour last weekend Two cortinas three capris and 190 escorts it certainly made a site on our 120 miles tour around the lakes

Where are the stones and what was the chopper ding there?

The photo of the two cortinas was taken at honister slate mine on the top of honister pass so the rocks are slate set up on end
The helicopter belongs to the owner of the mine He goes to work in it
If you have ever driven up to honister you will know why he flies in |

Thanks for that.
It is one of thew climbs I have yet to do, I like Hardknott, done it from both sides, but didn't think Wrynose warranted any claims to fame,
Apparently they have opened up the old "steel path" that the miners used up the rock faces and you finish it off with a zipwire ride. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.
