Hi
Lantern roofs on caravans appear to be the same type of thing as Clerestory roofs on railway carriages.
Are they in fact the same and does anyone know why they have different names in different usages? _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

On Carlights and Safaris I have also seen them referred to as a Mollycroft roof. Now where does that name come from? _________________ Brian

Hi
That's a big tongue in your cheek I think Uncle Alec.
I had forgotten about Mollycrofts, this word seems to be most used in relation to Roma and/or Showman's vans. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.
