On my ford f350 truck the front screen is curved. On each side of the front pillars there is a alloy strip. That i had no idea why it was there till today.Well i took them off because i was getting ready to paint.Well today the front screen had almost poped out.Now i know what the alloy was for, to hold the screen in.But what i have notice is the glass is flat and you have to force it to bend. What i am worried about is braeking, cracking it when i put it back in.Is there any special way or do i get someone else to force one side and i do the other at the same time. |

Unless you wish to buy a new glass i would suggest professionals at least that way if they break it they fix it plus they can use sealants to seal the window at the same time i have tried fitting glass and it is easy for it to slip and break i know by experience we live in the country and we have mobile windscreen repair people that come out there charges are reasonable rustyreks |
