I wondering if someone out there can help me. Can anybody explain to me in basic english (idiot terms) or even draw a diagram as to how to wire up an 1930's straight 6 engine for out of car testing. Any help would be very much appreciated.

First of all make sure the engine is not going to topple over when it fires up (hopefully). Its probably positive earth, so connect a jump lead from the battery + to the engine block, connect a wire to the sw side of the coil and to the - terminal, the other jump lead connect to the main starter terminal and by pushing it against the - terminal on the battery you should be turning over. |
