I just thought I'd introduce myself...
I'm based in Shropshire and have been into old motors and other old/retro tat for as long as I can remember.
Here are a few images of my previous classics...
and my current ride...
Cheers

Yes my mate had one exactly like that when we were 18, ~ same colour too.... and with the red seat belts of course!
Coming back late one night from a nightclub we had a NSF tyre blow out (4 up) in the outside lane of a 4 lane motorway at 80mph, incredibly he coaxed it to the hard shoulder and when we were still doing about 60mph the bonnet flew up & smashed the screen!
Good job we were too sloshed to realise what was going on! On reflection I am glad he had stuck to orange juice & lemonade all night too...... We had to pay for a taxi home and then went back with the spare wheel (which he had been restoring) in the morning! |

That's a fantastic selection of cars. I particularly like the Rover 2000, but then I am biased. I see yours had chrome sidestrips fitted like mine does. Was yours manual or auto?
Your current Land Rover looks immaculate! |

Hiya
The Rover was Manual. I eventually sold it to Nigel Boothman from Practical Classics - it appeared in the magazine quite a bit.
Re. Land Rover - it certainly is tidy, but there is a fair bit of work to do...window channels, door tops, etc, etc.
