On the look out for an e93a, preferable, or a 100e engine.
No need to be prestine as will be rebuilding with Aquaplene modifications.
A short engine would be fine.

Be handy to have a spare, the one in the DLM has had max size rebore last recon. +40 pistons.

So if anyone hears of one available feel free to let me know

Thanks
Roger

PS cheaper the better Laughing

I'll keep my ears open.

Which engine does it have in now? Main differences as I recall are that the 100E has a water pump as standard, adjustable valves and - I think - the starter on the opposite side when compared to an E93A. I may have an E93A block or two somewhere, I'd have to check, but no complete engine(s).

Thanks Rick

I have the E93 in at the moment.
That is why E93 would be first choice.

I have been told by "Smallfordspares"
Timeing cover needs changing, one bolt hole of the gearbox to engine will be out of line, and a hole needs cutting in the bellhousing to fit the 100e starter.

Will have to look into how much modification needed to use the 100e gearbox. car might not be long enough, the propshaft is only about 3 foot long.

Mind you once the crankshaft oil seal is done should be good for a few more miles yet, about 5000 miles now since recon.

Roger

PS it would be the 10hp I'm looking for

Might have a couple of engines and sundry ford prefect parts.

Two engines e93a
One might be a recon engine, some nuts and exterior bits missing.
Second came out of the car with an exchange, car now changes for 100e

Prefect
Bonnet, screens, carbs, Distributors, lights, glass, grill and other parts.

Job lot £150
Just got to organise transport, van or trailer, to collect from Radcliffe
