Battery Question

I took the E-Type out last Saturday about 130 mile return trip to the lake district.

This sunday I went to Blackpool on the first leg of my journey but on checking the car over Saturday night I noticed the charge in the battery was low so connected the car up to the trickle charger. Sunday morning she started fine.

Is the battery loosing charge due to its age Question

Ive nearly had the car two years so the battery is older than that, will a replacement battery sort it or is it something else Question

It could be the battery starting to wilt, or it could be the charging system being a little off-colour (dynamo, slack fanbelt etc).
