Hi all,
I'm looking for a recommended contact in NW England to refabricate the frame in the roof of my Wildgoose caravan. I'm OK with spanners etc but wood craftsmanship just isn't my forte...

Does anyone have any good contacts in that field?

cheers
Carl.

Can't help directly but it may be worth you contacting some museums for contacts.

There was/still is? a guy in Kirkby Lonsdale near Kendal by the name of Ricky Llinares who's an ace with all things wood. I'm sorry I don't have a current number for him as it's 20 years since he did work for me but he did work on a Hispano Suiza that was written up here recently. Check the archives you may get a lead from there.

Surely it was an Isotta-Fraschini that Enrique Llinares helped restore.

He is listed at:

E Llinares
Town End Farm Cottage
Carnforth
Lancashire LA6 2SD

Telephone: 01524 271748
