I need to add that we are also looking for a good bluebird from the 50's 60's

The Argosy's must be very rare?!

Did you not see the 1957 Bluebird that went on eBay for £1,2430 last week?

I did know of an old Argosy near Cheddar a few years back sitting in a garden but have not been past that way in a few years

We just wanted to let everyone know that this wanted ad has ended happily and we are now in possession of a fine Argosy 12. Thank you to this site for facilitating the find.

I will upload some pics as soon as possible. Anyone who was at Dorset Steam Fair would have seen her in the vintage caravan display area looking fine and dandy in fresh cream paint with jade green stripe.

In future she will be displayed along with a Willerby Vagabond. These are similarly aged caravans with almost identical internal layout but very different looks externally, making an interesting display.

thank you .. steve and kris
