You will not get remanufactured sills for the Hillman Minx Californian.
When I replaced mine I went down to Movac Ltd paint and bodywork suppliers,(depots all over East anglia
and looked through their stock of sills for older vehicles until I found a pair of the right length and profile.
Then when it came to fit them it was a simple cut and shut job.
Likewise for the rear arches which normally suffer,I took patterns of the originals and manufactured my own.
Alway`s when fabricating leave one side of the car untouched,so you have a reference point for measurements and to look how the original panels are finished off.
You may know this already but always leave your doors on the car when fitting new sills as a datum and reference point.
I have known people to fit new sills with the car stripped, then find the doors when rehung hit the sill when closing.
If you need any help about your car P.M me.

There was a firm in Bedfordshire, Colliers, who specialised in classic car sills, don't know if they are still trading, but the number was; 01480 477530.
