Within a dew days of qualifying as a rigger from RAF Halton 1968 & posted to RAF Benson, I was on a "Sport para" course at Weston on the Green (also known as WoG Air).
Monday morning we arrived, Monday afternoon chatted about it, Tuesday morning did a few practice jumps on the hanger floor and Tuesday afternoon we jumped!
I managed to do 10 before coming to my senses, all from a Dragon Rapide (with a blowing head gasket)!
Cheers, Tony. _________________ It may work in practice, but not necessarily in theory! |

I enjoy dropping in at Sleap when visiting my son at Wem. It has a really cosy, friendly, atmosphere. _________________ 1974 Mk1 Escort. |
