Hy guys,
I starter to fix my problem brake and when I open front brake wheels was a mess, with axle grease on the plate and brake-shoes. Now I remove all and cleaned. I ask if you recomended change my felt washer, Have a new modern solution?

Your best bet is to change the wheel bearings for the modern sealed type of ball races, then you don't have to bother about lubricating them and no grease leaks out. If they're the same as for the earlier Eights then they are standard sizes readily available at reasonable cost.
