I believe this is the first car show at Duxford.
I think they mean all makes car show, I'm sure I have been to a few at Duxford some years back.
Anyway I will be there with the DLM, looks like it might be a large turnout, unless the weather decides otherwise.

It does pee me off that they charge to bring ones classic in. But it is the only one I will pay to get in. _________________ 1936 Morris 8 Series 1

Dave
The whole site, as per a normal day, is open to all
Was a fair turn out, the car show covered a vast area around the army display area, and the American air-force hanger end, right down past the static aircraft display area, lots of flying, museums etal.
A few of the lads took a flight in a DH Rapide.
There were also flights in a Spitfire for deep pockets.
F86 was up, as well as the Pink Lady.
DH 82's all day long even with the blustery weather.
We tried to put up the gazebo, but after nearly having a four man hang gliding experience we saw sense and packed it away lol
A good day had by all.
Roger
PS cars off the road till I sort a water leak, NS wing was covered in coolant, and it needed two litres after the run from home to Duxford.
no sign as to were it's coming from though.
Not checked it yet from overnight stand with fresh cardboard on the floor. |

That price for Duxford is small fry compared to what the organisers of the Historic Grand Prix at Silverstone wanted from me to display my Vintage Caravan and Vintage Car,and let the public in it and around it all weekend.......£500.00.
I think a young PR lad in the booking office was having a laugh
