Spot on. Upload some pictures for us. Any help you or any body needs concerning Knowsley caravans please contact me.
I've also got a copy of the 1969 knowsley sales brochure should you wish to have a copy

I got given an EROS about 4 yrs back, structualy just a bit of rot in the front window pillars and a bit of rust on the 'A' frame, but not to bad for the age, unfortunatly the previouse owner had painted it green and purple, I think with a yard brush.still it's fairly raire caravan these days and was well worth restoring. anyway my neighbors took a fancy to it saying it would be light enough for their son to tow with a new type car licence and they would like to restore it for him, so I passed it on. then b*gg*r me within a fortnight they had cut it up, stripped it for parts and weighed the ally in. never even had the decency to say it was to much work and offer it me back. _________________ Nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing!! |

I had an Eros as my first classic caravan in 2000. I bought it at a house furniture auction and used it for my classic car shows for two years before an idiot builder at home pushed his ladder through the back of it.
This was when I first e-met Dave the Knowsley man!
A couple of pics of mine.

Hello Brian and thanks for the intro.....!
My first Knowsley. A 1973 Knowsley Juno 4 berth, 13ft. Brought by my parents in 1984 and given to me as my 14th birthday present!
This van come with full double glazing as all clubman Knowsley's did from 1973 along with full weather winter protection installation. This Knowsley had also been upgraded with a hot water system, fly screens, an extractor fan in the kitchen and mains. We felt like kings on the road when we got this van!
I kept this van until 1996 and sold it to friends who still own it today, although it's towing days are over as it sits on a paddock and they use it to brew a cuppa when down the stables

Moving on up, this was the van I had wanted after joining the Knowsley Owners Club and being their youngest member and seeing a similar van on the rally field
This model is a 1975 Juno 4 berth. Excellent towing due to the front profile. I got this van in 1996 and finally parted company with it in 2006

Next up I purchased this 1973 10ft baby Knowsley Eros off eBay in 2001
It needed a bit of work and a rebuild to the near side around the door frame.
Job complete I had stored it on my mothers drive way for a few days.
Woops, she moves her car, places foot on the wrong pedal, car shoots forward, into the van, shunting it into her garage.
Result one written off car, caravan and as she had just sold her house and was due to move 9 days later the new owners had a new garage built too!

The original Knowsley company went out of production in 1976
Pemberton who had produced static vans brought the rights to the name and launched the Knowsley range back onto the market from 1977 to 1980 when they too went out of production, resurfacing later under a management buyout.
These Pemberton Knowsley's although full equipped now with mains, battery charger and hot water systems are rare to find, heavy and had lost some of the original Knowsley vision

After five years with no new Knowsley caravans, Trophy acquire the rights to the Knowsley name. Their plans were to produce the Knowsley range and bring back old names like the Santo and Hermes. However the range was short lived and only appeared for the 1985 season with 4 models, a 2 and 4 berth Eros and a 2 and 4 berth Juno
This is a pre-production Trophy Knowsley Juno 2 that was taken along to the Knowsley Owners Club 300th rally in Oxfordshire - I know, I was there. I remember filling out a feedback form for Trophy on the new Knowsley!

Super caravans - - Trophy launched them back for the 86 season but sales were poor and few were built. Spotted a Juno last year though - Trophy built |
