UK Roadster Nationals Sunday July 3, 10am- 4.30pm

Twinwood Airfield, Clapham, Bedford, MK41 6AB
The WAAF Arena is reserved for convertible and open top cars including Veteran and Classics, Hot Rods and Custom, Americans and replica vehicles. Entrance also includes access to the UK Pick-Up and Van Nationals in the Control Tower Arena; the Glenn Miller and RAF Twinwood museums with fascinating “home front” memorabilia; music and entertainment for all the family, games in aid of EA Air Ambulance. Club stands, Trade stands and autojumble stalls are available. A separate display area is for other vehicles of special interest. Members of the public are also welcome.
Theme vehicle owners will receive a glass memento of the event and entry into a free cash prize draw. Show vehicles £6pp, general public £8, children £3.

I was out your way last weekend at the Bolnhurst Vintage Rally. A good weekend, but very wet on the Saturday. Can't go to the Nat's as I shall be at the Country Show at Brafield on the Green.

We enjoyed the Bolnhurst Rally but only went on the Sunday so stayed dry.

Latest additions to the show:

We’ve got an Artists Corner this year at the WAAF Arena comprising Paul and Tim’s Art Show, Image2 photography, Martin Squires- fine artist, Paul Yeoman who will be demonstrating air brushing and StuART.

A poker walk and other games in aid of East Anglian Air Ambulance. They will be collecting unused foreign currency, old UK coins and bank notes at their stand so if you have any please bring it along for them to “recycle” and put to good use.

Our web site has recently been updated with photos and a report on our July show. We were delighted to see that so many people embraced the concept for Clapham Classic Events shows to come along and enjoy what is not just a car show but also to chillax-to-the-max. For some this meant a combination of checking out the amazing variety of vehicles on show, browsing around the museums, listening to the music, entering competitions and so on. Others just relaxed by their beautiful cars with a picnic and enjoyed the atmosphere.

Our End of Season Get Together is coming up shortly at the old WW2 RAF station Twinwood in Clapham, Beds. Last year we had a great selection of classic cars as well as other vehicles of all types.
