Not sure if I am supposed to post stuff like this on the forum, but here goes.

We have a Carlight Caribbean, approximately fifteen foot odd in length. Our old canopy awning is now rotten, and we wonder if anyone has an old awning, suitable for conversion into a canopy.

Anything to save us putting our awning up, and having a nervous breakdown.

Looked on ebay, nothing suitable at present.

Or can anyone tell me what the piped tape that goes into the awning channel is called, so that I can look on the internet.

Oldtimers, I have a 1972 Poulard full awning which should fit your van.
Poulard had an ingenius fitting system whereby each panel of the awning slotted into the poles, which meant that when erected, it was like a shed!
It also meant that it could be used as a sunshade as well.
It's here in South Wales, and if you want it, come and fetch it, cos it's in my way!
ring me 07811 839187.
