Vintage caravan 16 inch tyres

I've just been looking for some 6.00 x 16 tyres and blimey what a price some of the vintage tyre people want. Some well over £100 each !!!

So looking up the equivalent size on the 'net, turns out to be 175-80x16. Same size as the London taxi's.

Final result was local tyre supplier can do them for £49.00 including VAT and being an 80 wall height, looks just the same as the old 600's.
Glad to save a few bob there.
