I was at the local tip recently and saw this car about to be thrown in a skip. I rescued it and the only fault was the steering wheel connection to the column had failed. A couple of spots of weld will fix that and my great nieces will have a lot of fun with this. It has steel bodywork instead of the usual plastic.
I have never seen one like this before. _________________ Keep Torqueing,

I have discovered that these toy cars are still made and also by cleverly turning the steel body around have made a 1930s racing car. They have pedal cars in their range and the Classic round radiator one looks good. See page 100 at http://www.greatgizmos.co.uk/Main_Cat_Zmags_Page_2011.html
It is coming up to Christmas you know..... _________________ Keep Torqueing,
