It does look very smart, but I think that big lump of plastic across the back is a bit more modern than 1970s. |

& a safety question:
Is it usual to have a propane tank & a battery in the same compartment?

It´s a MKP (M K Pedersen, Kolding, Denmark) Nothing to do with Hymer which is of course is German. It´s from the late 70s - beginning of 80s. They went into liquidation in the beginning of the 80s (exact date - not sure) There is a club for MKP. Just google that. Not very rare. I had a MKP from 1968 for a few years. Tended to smell of glasfibre after being layed up for the winter. They were renown for the top lifting off as it was fixed to a wooden frame that rotted Nice van though. |
