Here`s a nice period shot, good looking vans, a couple left in preservation, and one set fire to ! in a light entertainment series set in the 50s ( not Heartbeat or the royal )
( Bonus points if you can name the series )

yep it was a shame i had looked at buying said van , but i was not keen on the interior ( vary dark, not much window glass to let the light in ) and a bit pricey ( £1000 in 1998 ) funny around the same time i also looked at a bluebird dauphine looked like the one on Ebay was £250, the only trouble was the van was boxed in a triangle shape garden with canals on two sides and a new brick built garage at the top ! needless to say it stayed there Smile

The program was called " The last sulute " a period sitcome made by
The BBC in 1998 the storyline was about a group of AA patrolmen,
Set in 1960s Hmpshire, one of the cast was living in a Lynx at the bottom of a Garden (his girlfriends house )
A window was fitted in the side of the van
this was done so he could be filmed looking up to house !
