The mechanics are nice and easy. It's in much the same shape as a 10/4 I took on in 1985... I'm still using it. _________________ Due to the onset of my mid eighties I'm no longer sprightly and rarely seen in my Austin special. I have written a book though. https://amzn.eu/d/7rwRRqL |

Great! Do you have pictures from your 10/4? Did you restored it yourself?
Kind regards,

Restored it in 85 and used as second car for next 15+ years. Still use it occasionally. Here is pic of it rescuing a disabled Chummy from the Herne Bay Town Show last year.
Another of it being taken to a show attached to an 'A' bar behind my camper... back in the early 90s.

Great!
So if I have questions, you're the man?
It's now parked in a garage from a friend, together wit an Austin twelve 1946, stuning to see them together!
Kind regards,

These are brilliant old cars, very simple and usable, with spares quite readily available. There are a number of specialists around who can sort you out with parts and the owners club is worth joining, as again, they have a very good spares operation.
This is mine, like yours a '37, taken the weekend before last.

Yes, mine has got one of those, almost a wide enough viewing angle to see if the trafficators are working! It could do with resilvering though. |
