If you were offered a car the same as your own only in a much worse condition would you break it for spares or restore it.. I have broken and scrapped a few marinas over the years but if it had been a car from say the 50s I dont know.Sometimes a donor car is the only way of keeping your best one on the road.Its a difficult choice especially as spares are hard to come by.I would imagine there are body shells lying all over the place. _________________ The Clan Chieftain |

if i could find a rusty old Herald going very cheap,i'd use it as spares for my own. |

I have broken a couple of Morris 8's, one was completly rotten, neither had an identity, it never feels good when you have to take the stripped shell to the scrappy
