Hi all
I'm having a bit of a clear out, and have decided to get rid of my old Crypton 350. A great unit for diagnosing engine faults and setting up engines on classics.

It will measure dwell, individual spark plug voltage, has the brightest strobe timing lamp made, individual cylinders can be cut out to determine cylinder balance, ignition waveforms allows quick diagnosis of faulty leads, distributors, condensers, carbs etc

This model also includes a cylinder leak down tester, you will need a small compressor to use this function .

As you can see it has a bent arm, this doesn't affect the operation, but I'll sort out a spare arm. I'll also sort out the operating instructions ( they are quite simple to use) and the lead set. It has an additional emission tester but this is faulty

If any members want it, it's free, but needs to be collected from Nantwich by the end of March if not I'll stick it on eBay, I could deliver it if local.

Give me a call on 07817 588 943 or pm if interested.

Cheers

Dave

Physically how big is it roughly? wouldn't mind it myself but space (or rather lack of) is becoming a bit of an issue here Smile

If Rick doesn't want it ....

I could give it a very good home,
where it can live and roam free, looking after old Series Landrovers in its twighlight years.

Collection wouldn't be a problem as i have access to a van .

cheers

Useful piece of kit for classic cars, though.
When you think of the thousands that must have ended up in scrap yards - come to think of, probably in proportion to the cars that went there too - there can't be many left around.

Like so many, I would love it if you could include a bit of storage space! Sad
I'll just have to manage with my very ancient portable Crypton oscilloscope with its 4" screen.
Jim.

I would like it too and have the room - just too far to fetch it even though it may just fit a SWB LR

Yep it is a tad on the large side, the samller ones will fit in a car, it is possible to unbolt the stand and unplug the arm for transit.
