Whilst wandering out in the sunshine with the dog this afternoon a local farmer who I've know for years drove by in a quite lovely workmanlike Morris 1000 pickup.
Not sure where and when he got it as I pass his farm regularly and its never been in there. Must be a new acquisition. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

Seeing a vehicle like that being used is reward in itself. Even today, they tick all the boxes. Everything from milk churns to animal feed; they were - and still are - simply ideal. |

Agreed. Seeing a van like that still proving itself useful.
He actually had a small round bale of hay in the back. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

Not so much wheeled vehicles today but we went to an event at the Helicopter Museum in Weston Super Mare today for a 1940s show.
First time we've been and I must say it was quite a nice Museum. Lots to see there with the event on aswel...I did very much like a James wartime British motorcycle...
But the Museum was jam packed full of Helicopters from their inception to today, and from various countries. It was also nice to be able to see ongoing conservation and restoration work being undertaken. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

I saw an Austin 7 this morning, and a Mk1 Capri that I've seen a few times. I saw what I think was a PA Cresta yesterday. _________________ 1976 Vauxhall HP Firenza, 1976 Vauxhall Sportshatch (x2), 1986 Audi coupe quattro, 2000 Audi TT

Took my youngest to Football yesterday morning and at the same venue there was a car boot sale just finishing...
My wife then pointed out a lovely Black over Yellow Morris Oxford flat nose that was parked in the car park. Lovely original, or at least well worn condition. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

Lots of vintage motorcycles spotted out around here this afternoon, probably a local run going on.
Couple of nice prewars mixed in with the usual 50s and 60s selection. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |
