I saw a picture of the kit a few days ago, perhaps on Facebook.

Lots out and about on my commute home tonight, firstly a beautiful early 30's Rolls Royce. Black over green and reg starting 'BTX' from the quick view I had. Then a really tidy TR3, looked original too. Then as usual a couple of MGB's, see a lot of them about round here these days.

An Opel Manta SR (Type A), painted yellow with a black bonnet and covered in rally stickers, went by today. I'm fairly sure I've seen it at a local show, I'm sure MikeE will know if it's a local car.

I recall something similar at one of the Elephant shows, but I didn't think that had a lot of stickers over it. I'll dig out the photos when I remember.

Strange thing about local knowledge - turns out there's a chap not far from me who not only has a fairly special seventies Vauxhall, but it also restoring an eighties Audi, and I've never met or heard of him until very recently despite the similarity of shed contents.

Interesting aviation spot - seen at Bergen Airport yesterday. It's BIG!

They are coming out in my locality now. A red TR4a yesterday and a red Jenson Healey this morning. That one took me a few seconds to recognise.

Its lovely that when the sun comes out so do all the classics! I saw a really nice Morris Minor last night, convertible, off white with a red interior.

I was at a car boot sale near my home in deepest rural France earlier today. There was a line of 'classic' cars there - the usual R8s, 2CVs, etc. But in the middle of them, to my astonishment, was a very tidy Ford Consul Classic 315. It had a local registration too. A couple of years ago (I may have mentioned on here) I spotted a Voisin in a garage down a Limoges back street. I'm really not sure which of the two would be the more rare round here. The Cortina (Taunus?) 1600E parked further down the line seemed almost dull by comparison...

Spotted a little Austin Seven while I was out in the Princess. A little dashcam video of it can be seen here:

The local Alvis, and a certain "droop snoot" Firenza estate which is known to these parts, were spotted today, not much else though.
