Good news good old ebay again.
A chap was breaking such a car and had a really good rear bumper complete with correct overiders.
These are on their way as we speak so I can finish off the car and enjoy driving her.

I was offered a mint vdp 1300 in the early 80's, it only needed an exhaust , the owner only wanted £200, I turned it down because 1) it was auto 2) I thought all the wood looked very un-trendy! Embarassed

I'd also just acquired an old midget, and was working out how to convert it to rubber bumpers to make it look more modern Embarassed

How times change!

There's one identical to dad's in town, real minter, not far from the level crossing on the road that leads out to Audlem
