Has anyone had experience of having to find a replacement data plate for a vintage car? I have been contacted by a fellow club member (HOC) who is restoring a 1938 car that has a badly corroded plate and who would like to replace it. Any ideas anyone? |

If it's a brass plate then you could take a photo of a good original and using printed circuit techniques etch the image into to the plate.
There should be PCB materials available for amateur use.
