Hi
You might remember last year a programme recreating the bouncing bomb, the same engineer has now built a Colditz Cock glider in the attic at Colditz Castle.
Does it fly?

Enjoyed this. Of course it flew, but it looks as if H&S had an influence on the crew!
Although they proved it was able to fly they did take a liberty in altering the launching plan so it achieved greater take off speed than originally envisaged. In my mind there is still a little doubt that it would ever have reached flying speed originally.
A wonderful tribute to human resourcefulness though.
