Hi this link may be of interest to coach minded readers. It came to me from my brother, who's partner's, daughter's, father-in-law(don't you just love family links?) is the compiler & involved in the restoration. His father was a driver for the company.

Very interesting that,.....I love the pictures, the old Coaches were something else!.....such styling.
Lovely to see one of the company's original Coaches being tracked down and restored.
Thanks for posting

Hi JD,
Yes thanks for posting, Crossroads Garage was more recently known as Tourist Trophy, (provided I am thinking of the same site) and most recently they were a main dealer for Toyota. They were a customer of mine when I managed Brown Brothers at Farnham I am not quite old enough to remember it as Crossroads Garage though...

Nice link made me think of an old Danish movie called "The Bus"
Here is link = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LggenJ8bC34
The bus was later sold to Germany, but is now back with the original owners family here in Denmark. _________________ http://www.eurods.eu/wp/index.html |

I also drove buses in the late 60s - I had just started a garage business near to a bus operator & didn't have too many customers so plenty of time on hand. This one I drove on the service run from Sumburgh to Lerwick
& this one was for tours for the cruise ships which docked in Lerwick - one I remember was the New Amsterdam
Just came across these photos, cheers,JD. _________________ 1958 Ford Zephyr Mk2 Convertible
