May and Sept Beaulieu is always a must in our household. We are heading across from Somerset on the Sunday. |

It's a 400 mile round trip for me which makes it less of a 'must' when the cost of travel and accommodation is taken into account. |

My Father and I went down yesterday. Prices very high, and a lot of traders saying they had a slow weekend. Very busy so good for Beaulieu estate but not I would say for the punter. |

We did Malpas yesterday (were you there on Sun?), never made it to the jumble field

Yea we went on sunday. Had a good look round, your truck looked superb but missed you each time we went past. Some of the military recovery trucks were fabulous!

Best price of the day at Beaulieu for us was when I noticed a nice little 60's Shell half pint pourer. I thought it would look nice upon the shelf so I asked the chap how much he wanted for it, I almost had to pick myself up when he said £165!!!! |

The brother in law lives up in Nottingham so we are arranging to go up there in November, the aim being that we can get to the Newark jumble. Have heard a lot of good things about it, anyone been or regularly go? |

Haven't been in years but it always used to be good, and there were impressive queues to get in unless you arrived early. This was early 1990s though so it may have changed Last visit saw a complete Mk3 Spitfire bonnet returning home, roped onto the roof of my 4dr Amazon.
