Three Mercedes plus other classics due to go under the hammer soon:

A trio of Mercedes Benz Pagodas lead the line for the upcoming November 9th sale, the last classic sale of 2013, at Anglia Car Auctions, King¹s Lynn.

The first, a 1965 230SL Auto was owned BBC radio and TV host Chris Evans. Evans, known for his love of classic cars, sold the car in 2001 and since then the car has been under the care of one of the UK's leading Pagoda specialists. While it could benefit from a cosmetic refresh, with tax and MoT for a full year the blue SL is ready to use. It is expected to reach between £18,000 and £22,000.

For those with a bigger budget, a 1971 280SL is also up for grabs. Bought
from new by the current owner, this pampered Pagoda has covered just 58,000 miles from new and with the exception of its front wings - which have been professionally replaced by Mercedes ­ it remains totally original, even down to the chrome, soft top and rear window. Its estimate is £48,000-60,000.

With winter on its way it's an excellent time to begin a project and it's
our final Pagoda that falls into this category. The 1965 230SL has been
imported from the USA, and as befitting of the sunnier climate, is rust
free. It's the ideal basis for a Pagoda project.

Away from Pagodas, a 1956 190SL is also listed in the sale. A left-hand
drive example, it was imported to the UK from New Zealand in 2011 and has been with the same family for the past 25 years. With an estimated price of between £55,000 and £60,000. Finished in red, the 190 has recently benefitted from a new hood, chromework and carpets.

If you want a little more room in your Mercedes then how about a 1963 220 SEB Coupe? Believed to be the car used by Mercedes Benz at the 1963 Scottish Motorshow, the bronze 220 is packed with history, with stamped service history upto 126,000 miles, complete with certification from Daimler Benz marking the car passing the 120,000 mile mark. It¹s now covered 163,000 miles but despite that, remains largely original, with the exception of a full respray. It¹s estimated at between £22,000 and £27,000.

For those looking for something a little more practical there's a 1985 W123 280TE Estate. Another car benefitting from extensive service history, it's expected to fetch in the region of £4,000-£5,000.

just £50 plus VAT with a buyers/sellers fee of five per cent.
