We were heading to the Stony Stratford gathering this morning. Car ready to go,gassed up and looking very clean as always.
It is nice to get out with the cars over the winter period.
Blue sky`s,a nip in the air,sun shining,hot coffee,sandwiches and homemade cake, and a good old banter with other classic car owners.
Opened the curtains and......  MISERABLE,WINDY AND RAINING. 
Oh well,light the woodburner in the workshop and carry on with the Austin A30 van.

That's a shame and we had blue skies to spare up here in sunny Nairnshire. I couldn'take the oldie out a s planned due to the three little grandkids r ather over-staying their New Year's Eve welcome.  |

Driving to work today - in the rain - the outside temperature indicator said 12 c. Is that warm winter rain, or summer rain in the winter????  |

Where do you live....the South Of France.?
In the fens today (flat expanses of unbroken fields with no shelter) I was at a reclaim yard looking for old pickings.
. The wind was blowing and the weather not good. Only six degrees, colder in the wind and damp chill.
But this morning in my sheltered garden and yard quite sub tropical.
