My tourer has incorrect front seats as do many of them! The tourer has different seats to the Morris 8 saloons.

I’m looking to build some frames from scratch. Does any member have pictures of the bare frames, or a drawing ?

Even better have you some tourer seat frames that are up for sale no matter how grotty Smile

Cheers

Dave

Gidday Dave,

I am going to be sending mine off to the upholsterers in 3 or so weeks so should be able to send some pictures then if it helps. As mine are in very poor shape.....

Hi Rosco

That would be so useful Smile thanks

Most cars in the UK have had their tourer seats replaced with saloon seats, so we are going to have to make them from scratch, if when you strip them I could trouble you for some basic measurements of the frame it would really help Smile

Cheers

No worries at all Dave Cool it will be my pleasure.

In the mean time you will find some useful information on Bob Bryan's site regarding mounting blocks and floor installation.

Sorry Dave, the upholstery job was placed on the back burner - instead I discovered that a full engine rebuild was more the priority Embarassed
