There are only 2 small sections of flexible petrol pipe under the bonnet of the singer, a small section from the pump to filter, and then filter to carb.
Changed this a few months back along with new jubilee clips.
On having a check around this weekend, i have noticed the clips have all but gone through the petrol pipe.
Is this due to the pipe being poor quality? (bought from a decent source and is for petrol useage) or is it due to the clips being too tight?
The pipe ive used is black rubber, should i change to the clear re-enforce type?

Many thanks
I am calling into Demon Tweeks later to pick up some Goodrich hose which is of the correct spec (although the one I bought was supposed to be)
