This is the car being collected. We have now started the restoration, looks like it's going to be a long road as i was hoping i didn't have to take the body off as you will see in the next pics. The dreaded tin worm.

Very nice car.
Welcome from another Peter.
Are you stripping it completely or renovating it? |

Looking forward to seeing the buildup. Great effort required but the end result will be so satisfying for you.
I'm always buzzing around in mine, although having generator issues at the moment. But, there is always something interesting happenng with old cars to keep one on ones' toes _________________ Ian from Oz

Looks like a fair bit of work to do.
I believe the number plate is a post war replacement. As I recall pre war plates were all flat pressed numbers and letters. |

Gidday Peter,
Welcome to the forum You will find no shortage of tips etc on this site.
Look forward to progress on this little beauty. You never know your luck, you may be able to snare a complete chassis replacement as they do crop up occasionaly on online auctions sites.

It appears that many were sign written on but there were certainly many with raised letters. So I agree with your disagree.

The body bolts and positions can be found on page 8/56 of this manual. Here is the link...
