I am also a new member to the Forum. My pride and joy is my Standard 8. I have had it for about 4 years now and over that period of time many things I have done to it!
We moved to East Suffolk from West London 2 years ago and it is far more fun driving around here than driving around the busy roads of suburbia.
The 8 still has its original 803cc engine but I have rewired it; had the seats upholstered; brakes renewed: car re-sprayed; bumpers re-chromed etc etc.
All I need to do now is fit electronic ignition; buy a set of rear springs and a new steering box . |
