A friend of mine in Finland is restoring one of the above (admittedly a car that I am unfamiliar with) He is missing the entire switch assembly from the centre of the steering column. Can anyone suggest a source or another make/model that fitted the same component? It is Lucas manufacture.
Cheers
Paul (pjbeaumont@toucansurf.com) or pm. |

Yes Peter, that was my thought when I found that picture! I am hoping someone will prove me wrong!

Basically, a follow on from the SM1500. http://www.singercars.com/profiles/hunter.html
I last saw a hunter about 20 years ago in a rough and ready classic car lot near Daventry. The guy kept most of the cars out in the open although the better ones were kept in a barn. I remember a particularly nice Horch (for runner of AUDI)
The chances of finding a donor car are pretty slim.... however stranger things have happened! You never can tell what will turn up.
I presume you are looking for the indicator switch mechanism?
Something to look out for at Beaulieu perhaps? |

There will almost certainly be other Lucas horn/indicator manettes that use the same stator tube diameter and are located with the same flange in the steering wheel.
