I'll be towing my classic Royale Rangemaster caravan with my classic Range Rover LSE onto the ferry for France, same as last year. |

Can't wait! |
Will you be passing Kelvedon on the A12.
If so, approx time ?
Could try and be on the bridge as you pass with my Camcorder.
Not got anything booked as was still not sure of being mobile. |

Good idea to holiday in Europe at the moment, the £/€ exchange rates have not been as good for some time. 4 years ago we took the BM for a ride through France and Belgium into Germany, (my wife decided after going to the Theatre to see Chitty, we should go to King Ludvigs castles to see where it was filmed), then Lichtenstein, Switzerland, Italy and return though France, taking in the Millau bridge (again she and read an article on the construction, and decided that as we were within a few hundred K's, we should visit it). Point is, that it was the first time I have ever got to the Channel with an empty fuel tank, as petrol was less expensive in the UK. _________________ KA

Brooklands here we come!!
We're really looking forward to it as it'll be our first long drive in the Riley this year - the daft thing is, we called in at Brooklands on our way home from Dover on Tuesday but it's somewhere I never get tired of visiting. _________________ David

I'd forgotten about the Cheshire Run, might try to find somewhere to watch for a bit. There's a meeting at the Cholmondeley Arms in the morning as well. |

Whereabouts in Kent are you starting your Manta run from Dave? I'm down here at the moment with my FE Victor, I could drop by if it's not too far. _________________ Richard Hughes |

Shouldn't be a prob if you're in something suitable otherwise park up over the road with the lorries, there's usually a few cars dotted about over there, then walk over, whichever you prefer

The Roadster is all bulled up and ready for a run to Culzean Castle on the Clyde Coast.
The weather forecast is a bit uninspiring for later today but the sun is shining right now.
All the best to all who are going out today and please post plenty pictures.

Just back from a lovely run round the bacl lanes of Cheshire and a spiffing Sunday Roast at The Horseshoe, Church Lawton. 8 RMs I think. I did about 140 miles all told.
Hi to all the friendly wavers we met or passed.
Had to dodge what looked like a really serious RTA in Sandbach, motor bike involved I think. Hope those involved recover.

Just back from Culzean Castle, a round trip of 106 miles.
In spite of bright sunshine it is bitterly cold in the Roadster with the hood down. A great day but I was disappointed that the only oldie I saw on the whole journey was a split screen V Dub camper.

Interesting car park up here at Skara Brae, a Bristol, an E Type, an MGB, an Alfa, a Fiat X19, and a handful of exotica, and of course the Morgan! _________________ KA
