|
|
Hello, in order to raise funds for an engine rebuild on my Morris 8, I am trying to sell what I believe is a MK2 3.8s power steering pump (I do not know if it fits other Jaguars of the period?) I have been asked if it is for a LHD or RHD car, and have absolutely no idea. Can anyone identify if it is lhd or rhd?
Many Thanks

Tim,
What you have there is a power steering box not the pump. As to L or RHD I don't know. Are you sure it's from a Jaguar? They used two styles of steering boxes over the years. Is there any ID labels? If it's the later Marles box I think they are more desirable as they are variable pitch.

Many thanks for your reply - I have no idea why I said pump - must be too early in the morning!
It is marked hale s-1-218 and has 3 1/4 turns lock to lock if that helps?
